I can see why Loma fans would take issue with Tank. He talked a lot of sh-t but had no intention of fighting Loma. Haney on the other hand really wants to fight him now.

The reason they are mad with Haney is he made Loma operate the way his very worst racist fans claim PBC fighters and Canelo operates-ducking tough opponents. What REALLY pissed them off is instead of acting like a real street n*gga, Haney calmly, rationally and honestly DESTROYED Loma when talking about the emeritus designation request, him vacating, and the multiple stories coming out of his camp.

Haney made Loma look incredibly weak, you know like the way they always claim Margs made Floyd look. There is a certain portion of NSB that will forever hate Haney because of that.

I haven't seen anything like what the OP is saying is happening.

All up and coming fighters in the lightweight division should be calling Loma out. They should all want to prove themselves against the best. They should all have that hunger.

I think that sometimes they can act like dicks when they do this, which isn't cool. But calling out Loma is fine.

When fans with certain agendas, such as racism, latch onto these fighters and start bleating on about them being ready to take on Loma and Loma ducking them - then I will call it what it is - idiocy and often racism.

That's not attacking the fighters, it is calling out racist idiots.

I've seen a few threads lately, on this site and others, by people who generally have a background of being racist - and they are all trying to tear down Loma - and they are all trying to find some weak justification. Some kind of hypocrisy which they believe they have found, some kind of double standard, some kind of flaw.

People acted the same way towards Floyd. Racists trying to find an excuse to hate and tear down a fighter with exceptional talent, instead of relaxing and just enjoying their fights.

When in reality Haney is a good prospect who didnt even win his world title. Hes also NOT Lomachenkos mandatory. There are also better fights available.

Haney should be chasing Loma. If Loma's excuse is that he's an unknown that hasn't fought anyone (which isn't untrue) then he just needs to keep fighting the best guys willing to get into the ring with him. He should be doing that because that's just the right thing to do for his career. But it'll also make Loma's criticisms more and more hollow as time goes on.
