In theory, these two fights have been good for both of them (for Ruiz, the recognition and money, and for Joshua, the test). And the rematch will really push them both - is Joshua a robot who lacks the warrior spirit? Is Ruiz just a lucky fluke?

There's a lot to prove for both men in this rematch, a lot on the line.

I'm a Joshua fan but think its slightly in Ruiz's favour with that hand speed. If Ruiz has lost too much weight, I think some of that power will have faded too and Joshua will be in and out quickly to stop Ruiz moving inside for the counter right hook to that sweet spot that put Joshua away in the 1st fight.

Joshua has a great uppercut, ask Dillian Whyte. He should let that fly a couple of times to keep Ruiz thinking about moving inside too eagerly.

Arguably, Joshua's best weight has been at around 225-230lbs, so will be interesting to see where they both come in.

Foresee a Joshua v Parker type of fight where the ref plays a big part in a Joshua TKO.
A fool with his money?? No moreso than Aj has been with his. Ruiz has invested son.

It's a world-class fight. Aj can punch Ruiz can punch. Ruiz can punch and ****, and will do so all night. Ruiz takes punches much better than AJ (who doesn't like to get hit and goes into a mental shell in a war). Unless there is flagrant interference by the ref, this is going to be a war. hearn and Aj trying to "control" how this fight plays out is not going to work. Aj better be prepared to come fight hard and long, AND go out on his shield because Andy Ruiz will be prepared to do so.

There are ways Joshua can win, but I don't think his team has sought them. They are relying on chicanery of one type or another ... which hopefully will blow up in their faces. In most scenarios, Ruiz is gonna bomb Aj out ... sooner or later, Andy is prepared for war, all night. Aj is looking for a few good punches and his typical gift ending.

Joshua is a fighter underneath all of hearns BS. He may come out of that shell and make it a real fight. If he does everything is on the table. Chances are though, he has bought the hearn kool-aid and is looking for some type of bailout.

Ruiz will get a good workout and another solid KO. He is prepared to do it the hard way, the old-fashioned way. A warrior at war.

That is the truest statement ever spoken about this fight.

Real fight fans don't want anymore of hearns BS trying to manipulate the fights and money. No more spin from his hundreds of ignorant fan-girls. JUST GREAT FIGHTS. FAIR FIGHTS. NO HOLDS BARRED FIGHTS. SIMPLE CONTRACTS.

No career controlling BS woven into contracts either. Keep it simple, make the fights, and let the chips fall where they may ...

Unfortunately, Joshua (who I like actually) has to lose for any hope that hearn/Matchroom will mend their ways. Thats sad.

          SET THE DIVISION FREE RUIZ!!!

Yep, agreed with you two. When people rejoiced when Joshua got stopped a lot of it was because people saw it as Hearn taking a loss. So true about the career controlling contracts.....and anyone that doesn’t give their careers over to him is then labeled as “ducking” because they won’t sign with him or his app. Agreed, the more Hearn takes losses the better for boxing

Slob Ruiz living the good life. Joshua is serious and will fight disciplined and outpoint the Snikers eating fool.

Hearing Ruiz talk, he sounds like he has some sugar in his tank
Just saying...I don't have a horse in the AJ vs Ruiz match by the way.

Good day my brother. Every left hook Ortiz landed on Wilders whiskers on Saturday I was thinking of you and getting ready to compose the most disrespectful message. However then I thought this is what they want. We have to stick together. I’m just asking if I can set up shop again and promote my country man AJ without any insults?
