I dunno man, I think it’s hard to give Wilder more than 4 rounds.

Ali and Joe Louis were the only champions when they make all their defenses.

Klitschko and Holmes were clearly the champions when they made all their defenses.

I would like this generation to stop getting credit for being champions when they’re really contenders.

I automatically gave Fury a 10-8 round for the tongue wag.

Wilder is not heavyweight champion and never was. There isn’t a heavyweight champion right now.

Ali was actually the heavyweight champion of the world when he beat Foreman.
While 10 defences is impressive, I agree it’s not really comparable to Ali’s reign for the reasons you stated.

Plus he’d already made 9 I think after beating Liston. He’d have made a good deal more had he not been exiled as well.

Man at this stage & I never thought Id say this but I think it might be a good bet Wilder retires undefeated. The only guy Id favor over him is Fury & thats a focused Fury. Idk how focused Fury is these days on boxing doe is the thing.

Always a shot Wilder will lose to a random mfer, & like I believe I initially predicted, just like with Joshua which has come to pass. But I dont see anyone outright who can handle his power except Fury & Fury barely did it.

Either way I think if Wilder gets past Fury with his 0 intact & assuming hes got 3 to 5 fights or less after that I think Id make him a favorite to retire undefeated.

come on people, that's how he fights FFS. He waits for that perfect time to land that one right. LIGHTS OUT BABY.

He doesnt have to out-box to win, and he has shown us that multiple times in multiple fights.

It actually is and he's just knocking them all out in the process.

I don’t disagree. Wilder is looking like a beast. Retiring undefeated is a possibility. Much of it depends how long he hangs around. The longer you fight, the greater the odds of a loss. But right now, I don’t see anyone I would clearly favor over him.

Wilder won with aggression, ring generalship and damage done.

all fury has is clown faces and pitty pats.
I’m not a fan of punch stats. They really mean nothing in terms of scoring a fight. For what it’s worth, I thought the only two rounds Fury lost were the ones he got knocked down in. Maybe he lost one other.

You know what...I don’t disagree here either. The way the fight went, one could make the argument. I just didn’t see it that way. (See above.)
