Comments Thread For: Xu Can Calls For Title Unification With Josh Warrington

Having wrapped up a breakout year, Xu Can is already on the hunt for bigger game in 2020. The high-octane featherweight titlist from China scored his third win of 2019, soundly outpointing Manny Robles III (18-1, 8KOs) over 12 rounds Saturday evening at Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. Their DAZN-streamed bout saw Can set a punchstat record, throwing 1,526 punches and landing more than 400 in handing Robles his first loss while defending his title for the second time.

I'm a fan. Let's make Warrington vs Shakur and Russell vs Can, then winners fight.

Nobody in this division has any punching power.

Xu Can is pretty badass. Xu Can would whoop on that weak ass Brit who cant break an egg. Warrington aint gonna do sht with his feather dusters.

I see Warrington and Warren preferring this fight to Stevenson.

I enjoy watching Can, he throws alot of punches and he catches some back. Based on his demeanor against Robles, he seems to really enjoy throwing leather and scrapping.

He lacks power and can be hit so I doubt he can beat any of the other big names but he would be fun to watch against most of these guys.

keep feeding him light hitting opponents that he can easily outwork. That will build up his fan base. Then create a mega fight with someone like Leo Santa Cruz and stage it in China. Easy payday for everyone.

You don't know sht about anything including who is a legitimate world champion here. Warrington beat Lee Selby and Carl Frampton. Who has Can man Doo beaten?
