    Let's talk about Wilder's left

Throughout the fight, Wilder was using his jab and a sweeping left hook that seemed to keep Ortiz at bay at times. Wilder's right is concussive. But is his left developing the same type of impact?

What left? Ortizz found his range time and time again. That's a 40 year old with short legs and he was finding range as easy as can be. He just stayed in range too long.

He needs to work on it more.

By mixing up speed/rhythm/feints/punch sequence on just a jab, left hook, and right hand he can can cause a lot of confusion. It will help him disguise when the big bomb is coming.

It's always kinda been there. His check left is on most of his HL reels, some fat dude in Mexico got it good. It's just not got the impact of the right.

If you picture a shield in Wilder's left and a sword in his right it'll make more sense. He'll never have an equal left to his right, he isn't meant.
