Now Ruiz is in trouble ! (Anthony Joshua)

Joshua suddenly got sharp (improved his kinetic linking)

Much better compared to the last pre fight training footage

He will only get better at it too as time goes on.

I have poor tactical knowledge when it comes to the skill of winning a fight, but do you guys think he would be wise to move his head more (slips from the hips ie bending at the waist like Fury does) just in general is it better to keep the head moving in general even before a punch comes or is it better to only move it as a reaction to an incoming punch? I would have thought its better to be more of a moving target? (using the hips to move the head so its faster and less tiring)

perfect kinetic linking on the right hook (easier for the 2nd punch because you are in motion )

terrible kinetic linking on every punch but because hes so powerful anyway he still got the KO (no/terrible kinetic linking)

Look at the difference in speed and power with proper kinetic linking, hopefully it will become a habit that he does all the time, with every single punch habitually and unconsciously

I also think that style of slip where you "drop" to one side or the other (by sinking your weight left or right at the leg/knee) should be phased out, its too slow it works but other slips work better, like how Fury slips from the hips/waist, that style of slipping done to a high level of proficiency is much faster safer and better.

You dont have time to drop to the left or right when someone like Ruiz is throwing.

I didnt see him use that slip, but Fury clearly has awesome head movement, so Joshua should maybe learn from it, basically Pernell Whitaker truly mastered that style of slip/movement and had probably the best head movement/defense in history.

But Fury does a simplistic easy to learn from version of what Pernel is doing

If he solved those 2 major flaws in his game (the typical European stiff easy to hit lack of head movement influence ) and improved the speed and power of his punches with kinetic linking I think that would solve two major holes in his game and it would make him significantly better and more dangerous.

Hes already fixed the muscle mass/gassing issue (also good kinetic linking helps with stamina too ALOT)

Then I think he should employ the best trainers money can buy, where ever they are in the world, to take it again to an even higher level.

Also his current trainers dont give him the worlds best tuition which is kinda needed if you want to be the man, not only that they let him go his whole career with MAJOR flaws, thats inexcusable, they should be fired immediately

Fury should do the same, and Deontay regarding coaches (like wlad and Lewis). Deontay should learn long hooks properly, Russian style which is an easier method to get down, and he stop trying to be like Roy Jones Jr and start gradually becoming a technical boxer puncher, modelling himself on Hearns rather than RJJ which is closer to what he is

I mean what kind of coach lets both Joshua and Tyson Fury have poor Kinetic linking thats like bread and butter of boxing, like simple beginner level stuff, most russian and cuban 16 year olds can do this.

Joshua's trainers gave him massive holes, Furies trainers are damn good except for the kinetic linking issue.

Deontay has no trouble with kinetic linking but his trainers let him have lousy long hooks and an amateurish style, and they dont train him in a technical orthodox way which would probably serve him better than what hes currently trying to do/be. I mean theres a problem because his style works for his power levels, but he would still be better off gradually becoming an orthodox technical boxer-puncher, with Hearns as his ideal of perfection, that would work better.

Could you imagine hearns trying to do it like Deontay? He wouldnt do as well even if he was a heavyweight
