No, landed punches isn't the only way to score points but it's the most valued way.

Yes by watching the fight and see who is winning the rounds, it's much better than using someone elses opinion on what landed and didn't.

Did you watch the Wilder fight tonight? You obviously didn't see the punch counter in the corner not scoring punches that land. Judges don't use compubox. If you need some inaccurate numbers to tell you who won a round it speaks volumes about you.
