Deontay Wilder's BIG Strength That Goes Unnoticed

His chin is solid enough to keep him standing and in the fight to eventually land his big shot. His power is obviously his BIGGEST strength and he has good speed, but he's able to take shots and recover when he buzzed to get back in the fight. So while he can most certainly get out boxed, if you aren't going to go try to take him out, then it's almost damn near impossible to avoid his shots forever.

We will see if he is able to put Fury away once and for all in the rematch, but a fight with Ruiz would be VERY intriguing if he's able to get past Joshua in December. Ruiz is going to win rounds with his superior boxing skills and activity, but he also has a good chin.

he also has underrated defensive ability. he uses defensive range very well. he sees most punches coming.

I was always informed he has no chin and 1st puncher he faces will end him. Ive seen him take a few big shots now and hes done well with them, been buzzed, put down and hurt big time in the last Ortiz fight. What impressed me was when Ortiz had him on the stanky legs he still had enough about him to make sure he wasnt easy to land clean on and held on. Its Heavies, anybody can get hurt.

His chin is definitely better than was once advertised.

Ruiz will get caught. Ruiz is aggressive and quick, he's not particularly smart or crafty...not to the extent of Ortiz in any case. Ruiz doesn't want Wilder at all. Neither does Joshua

His defense isn't as good as you're making it to be. He backs up in a straight line (a lot of times right into the ropes) and puts his arms out to kind of keep the incoming guy at bay.

Definitely true but he has quick reflexes defensively.
