Larry Hazzard has got to be one of the worst scorers of all time. people liked to criticize harold lederman in the hbo days for favoring the A side but holy sht. Off the top of my head this guy had wilder ahead and had Charlo beating korobov like 118-110. He’s absolutely terrible.

Also the fox punch stats always seem funky.

His scores are almost always completely off. I noticed that too about the punch stats. I don't know what punches they were counting that landed.

The man is a cheer leader. Thats where these ridiculous score cards come from. Hes there to make Wilder look and sound good by trying to convince us that there is a super star in the ring controlling the fight when the reality is he lost every round, Hes just a PBC fighter cheer leader.

I never said he’s a bum off the street or questioning his in ring ability. I’m saying he can’t score worth a damn. Daniel Jacobs is world class elite boxer and had AdrienBroner beating Mikey Garcia.

Well, he may have been an ex-fighter, but then that shouldn't give him a pass for being terrible in officiating. Most officials involved in boxing are ex-am's at least.

I remember him well when he was a referee and commissioner and he was always ****e...he definitely never should have had the commissioner's role - he hit his ceiling as a ref and was a political appointment as commissioner and it really showed.

He's be in the crowd and overturn referee's in ring decisions of fights in a whim (remember, these are his commission's ref's - either they're competent to make the call in the ring or they're not); perpetuated blatant bias against overseas fighters; I think he was even involved in a brawl once in ring; also kept clearly incompetent (or corrupt) judges / referees on the books etc etc.

He was always described as being 'controversial'.

It would be amazing if, given all else, he was even an average judge. That he cannot score sounds very much like the Larry Hazzard we all wished would go away by the early 90's.
