"They have to be perfect for 12 rds. I only need to be perfect for 1 second" - wilder

That has got to be one of the truest quotes ever. Say what you want, but I said it before and I'll say it again. Wilder ends Ruiz and Joshua too. Its hard for our brains to process it, but wilder has a weird skill in there and its not just his power. He measures guys, he has a way of taking their stock sort to speak. He'll win rds or give a few up to record it, but once he does may God have mercy on your chin. These aint lucky shots. You aint lucky 41 times. He lands FLUSH. I figured this out about 8 fights ago. Time for y'all to do the same

All Wilder needs is that 1 shot to land flush. He looks horrible technically even today where he may looked "improved". It doesn't matter though. In the end, as long as his own chin doesn't fail him and he's in the ring with you to get that 1 shot in, he's always got a shot to put 12 rds lost in the rear view mirror.

That quote is legit. It makes it exciting for me to watch any of his fights because he easily gets outboxed and looks amateurish right up until he lands that right.

Yep its like you are forced to take risks against Wilder you have to knock him out but he isnt easy to hit and has a decent chin.

You cant decision him you just cant maybe a prime Fury could avoid his right hand for 12 rounds but its all hypothetical.

                  That is a quality line.

The point I always made about Wilder for year before anyone thought he would be anything, is that it is about being effective and making your abilities work for you even if it is not pretty or standard. Wilder has always done things in a way that makes it work for him. It is not how I wold teach anyone how to fight but he has a gift and has figured out how to use it well in the ring.
