The problem with Tyson Fury going into the 2nd fight

Fury has a crazy amount of self-belief, and he has convinced himself that he was only 50% in the first fight. The problem is he's overconfident. The more rounds he wins, the more invincible he feels, and that leads to mistakes. Meanwhile Deontay is figuring him out. He's reading the pattern of his movement and finding holes. The longer the fight goes, the more dangerous he becomes.

Fury dont need to improve. He just needs to be fitter in the rematch. Only when he tired did Wilder get anywhere near him. Wilder got him in the 9th and 12th. Got nowhere near him in the earlier rounds and it wasnt like he wasnt swinging for Fury. Everybody saying Wilder has improved but he lost all 6 full rounds to Ortiz last night.

Normally I would agree, but Tyson is a strange one. who would have thought that the 1st one would go like that... Tyson recent form means little to nothing.
Wilder changed tactics a bit, but I don’t think that would work well against Tyson. Wilder is much more conservative and patient. That is the worst thing you can do against Tyson (look at the Wlad fight).

Anyway, it is going to be very interesting.

I think Fury is a guy that needs a challenge to perform around his top level. I would expect his form to be pretty good in a Wilder rematch, and if Fury is in good form he could win but he does have to be pretty close to perfect because at the very least Wilder will get a couple good chances to really make his mark but if Fury can keep it to that and not lose the fight in those couple spots he should do well.

I would hope Wilder would fight Fury more aggressively than he did the first go around and certainly more aggressively than he did tonight because with more effort his chances to making a spot for his right hand would increase.

Wilder had zero improvement whatsoever but the power remains so he is always a threat.

Fury can do it again but to bad he carries almost nothing in his hands to gain Wilder respect for anything other than boxing skills.

Does Fury even have his heart in boxing, last I read he was doing his wrasslin' gig. If Fury goes into the rematch half assed, he'll get KO'd. He's a giant of a man but doesn't have the power to keep Wilder off him for all 12 rnds.
