Like a lot of people on here you are confusing KO with stoppage. A british stoppage is nothing like a Wilder KO. It's one of the reasons fighting in America is risky for AJ. In America for the most part a knockdown won't necessarily get you the win. Had the Ruiz fight been in the U.K. it's possible it gets stopped as soon as Ruiz goes down. Given that the Ruiz win was a no excuses K.O.....the only reason for a neutral venue is the hope that Joshua can get a softer stoppage win.

Well that is true. There are a lot of super early stoppages over there when a man nearly is just rocked. I also meant to say AJ nearly has same KO% and not KOs. Wilder has like double the KOs at this point which coincidentally might also be because Wilder has been fighting for like half as many years as AJ has.

I used to think AJ would hurt him first, but it's clear now that Wilder has a damn good chin and AJ does not. I think just knowing this has kept AJ away from Wilder.

As much as people say Wilder is a terrible boxer, and in some aspects is true...he’s actually not easy to tag clean. He actually takes a shot well when he does, but you never see him get caught clean often.

I guess that’s because fighters don’t like to open up too much anyway because of what might come back, but even so.
