    • Stylistically if Ruiz can get inside he beats Wilder for sure. The problem is Ruiz is willing to take some to deliver some. Against Wilder he might go to sleep before coming inside.

The best style to beat Ruiz is actually Luis Ortiz for sure, a boxer puncher that can move and fight inside aswell. Ruiz will take out Joshua, then it's a coin flip for Wilder vs Ortiz.

      • We all knew what was going to happen. But I don't think I've ever seen Deontay throw so little before a stoppage though. That's what was so remarkable tonight.

It's got to the point where you cannot take him to a decision. You have to knock him out before he knocks you out.

        • He's the hardest puncher in the history of the sport point blank period.

          • Seriously... Ortiz could get a Belt , just not this one...

Props to Wilder... He's right to be thankful to god for gifting him the only thing that matters with his "style"...

Wilder is the ultimate though at making guys pay for messing up he has slumped so many dudes that way.
Truth. After this many fights, no one can cal it a "fluke" or "lucky punch". But, the way the guy fights, it certainly comes across that way.

I agree he's better when he's more aggressive. It's rough to watch the guy let rounds slip away as he invests in that 1-punch.

                  • 2 judges had it 5-1 Ortiz...they had it right and then bamm.

                    • The judges were actually giving Ortiz his due this fight. Unfortunately all it takes is one punch from Wilder
