After reading Ortiz comments on Wilders border line punches in the 1st fight, after seeing a vid or 2 of people complaining about just how many illegal shots Wilder threw its clear to see Ortiz has a point.
Ive watched the fight back and its disgusting the amount there was, i was dismissing Ortiz comments at 1st, yeah Wilders known for his illegal shots but i see illegal shots from both fighters in near enough every fight ive seen ever. But never to the extent of Wilders and watching that 1st Ortiz fight back a few of those illegal shots were key to the outcome of that fight and they hurt Ortiz.
I see the ref making a half effort to complain to Wilder about those shots but Wilder didnt change at all and if anything the illegal shots were increasing in regularity and the ref just gave up mentioning it rather than doing his job and warning Wilder officially.
I expect Wilder to knock Ortiz out again, i just hope he can do it fairly this time. Last time he wouldnt allow him medication which made a difference, he got his extra recovery time cuz Ortiz had the audacity to hurt him and near enough half of his scoring or hurtful punches were illegal.
