    Tarver , RJJ

Does anyone else think he would have caused trouble for RJJ at most points of his career ,not many fighters stcuk a jab in Jones's but Tarver seemed to in all 3fights.

Also am i the only one thinking Jones was intimidated by Tarver

i think (unfortunately), Tarver will always have the pychological advantage over Roy.. he could always get inside his head

Tarver only got in Roy's head because Roy lost pounds of muscle. if Roy can beat Tarver like he did in the 1st fight, then of course he could have beaten him MORE clearly before he damaged his body.

Of course, Tarver would always give Roy problems...but he wouldn't be able to do it as much had Roy been in his prime, circa 1997-2003 at 175.

A prime Roy would absolutly dominate Tarver.

Agreed. Tarver would have given him problems but no more than the Harding fight.

I agree with both above posters, especially if it was before the McClellan-Benn fight messed him up.
