Yes but who is in front of him has been a careful series of decisions some would argue. Gatti; Mitchell, Judah...not exactly a who's who of the WW or light WW division. Look I like Floyd but it is time to face the fact that he hasn't faced an alite opponent in 3 years

Judah was/is an elite fighter despite his mental lapses whether u want to believe it or not. The man was the undisputed 147 champ in 2006 for God's sake! Yeah he had a bad fight against Baldomier, but that doesnt discredit his accomplishments. Gatti was a stepping stone to get him to where he is now and thats P4P #1. Mitchell was a tune up but will give majority of the people at 140 or 147 problems and win most of the fights. So some could argue that he hasnt fought no one in the last 3 years, but I cant see the validity in that. And by the way, there isnt that many fighters in the sport of boxing that are elite let alone in the 140 or 147 division. Thats why they are called the elite, its impossible for him to fight an elite fighter in every fight.

Zab has a better resume than Margarito but only because people were willing to face him. Zab did lose to Baldomir, but he also lost to Koz (in embarrassing fashion) and was KO'd by Spinks. He then was busted up by Mayweather. Who has he beaten that makes him elite? If Margarito lost to Mosley that would be one loss in the last 10 years. And no he wouldn't deserve to face Floyd in his next fight after losing anyway.

Floyd knows that if he steps in the ring with Margarito he will lose. People act as if Floyd has the same speed he had at 130 or 135.............no he doesn't. Margarito is too big and will just pound on Floyd all night taking any pillow shot's Floyd dishes out on Margarito. Margarito is a high volume puncher that also uses a jab. No way in hell will Floyd be able to win the fight by only moving side to side using the jab, and you really belive Floyd would have a chance on the inside?,lol. their are a line of guys wiling to face him now. nobody has been avoiding marg no matter what he says. i guarantee you this. if he steps up to face floyd. by the end of the fight he will broken down physically and definately mentally. and all the marg fans in the audience will be silenced after watching their fighter get out-classed.

Margarito would just lay the ****er on the ropes and pound away. No way is Floyd gana have the speed to move side by side all night and expect to win.
