Clearly Floyd will never be the draw that DLH is, but that is not really an insult because DLH is the most successful fighter in the history of boxing outside the HW division. No other fighter comes close in popularity. But now he is on the way out, and there is nobody who is the next in line to fill the void when DLH retires. I think Floyd thinks that by beating DLH he can become the next BIG thing. I think that in Floyd's mind he believes that DLH graduated to the level he is at now by beating 2 aging great champions (Whitaker and Chavez). After these fights was when DLH became ridiculously popular and I think Floyd thinks that is where he is headed. To end this Floyd is wrong, and there won't ever be another DLH. DLH had it all...Latino fans love him, Americans love him, Women love him. Floyd is obnoxious and most people hate him so that won't be happeningfor him.

Hatton has handspeed, great stamina, a good chin, good power, great toughness, and of course he's a smart attacker to the body. Mayweather's fighting the REAL champ. All Margarito's got is that worthless WBO belt. If Margarito wants to get into the mix, he should dump that worthless piece of leather into the garbage can and join the hunt. He can't be ranked by any other organization as long as he CLAIMS to be the champ...which he's not. If he wants to get in line for Mayweather or Baldomir...who IS the Champ....he needs to get rid of that WBOgus strap.

That 'worthless' belt is one of the few bargaining chips he has. It's still a major title arguably. Certainly better than an NABO or NABF title.

Mayweather said he cared about money, and Margarito offered it. Giving up the WBO is a risky move for Margarito and not something that should be done lightly. Besides, dropping that and becoming and mandatory to Floyd in way at all promises a fight to Margarito. Floyd can just as easily try to fight someone else with all the corruption there is...sanctioning bodies are easy to sway and often accept a lesser challenger than the number 1 guy.
