A week or so ago Lomachenko denied requesting the franchise designation, claiming that he had nothing to do with it.

Sulaiman confirmed the request came from none other than Arum/Top Rank. He then went on to defend this ridiculous franchise designation that even he knows sounds confusing admitting it's designation that only a handful of "special" fighters will ever be able to attain.
