Fury is more Ali than Wilder! They both "be doing too much!" However, you're correct, if Wilder wins, the rematch will sell! 2 questions: Does the Ruiz/Joshua winner have to fight Usyk or Pulev next? Do you think Ajagba is ready for Kownacki?

Apparently it’d be the WBA mandatory next, which is Usyk.

Hearn has already said he thinks the belts will split, regardless of who wins. But he can’t really speak for Ruiz on that matter, but that says to me that AJ is going to vacate that title rather than fight Usyk, if he wins.

But Wilder isn’t a star in USA either, and that’s his own country. His team have done a terrible job promoting him. WBC champ that is an incredible puncher that flattens guys, looks the part etc.. he should’ve been a huge star but his team never knew how to build him as a brand.

Imagine an American HW champ with his attributes, record etc.. in the past? He would’ve been a superstar.

People talk **** but King never did the fans bad. He literally made the golden era, invented the PPV, and made the Tyson era.

What happened to boxing? It was in a bad place after Patterson, got fixed up by King, and went right back to a bad place after.


Wlad was incapable of building in America too. Back then the euros told us it's because he's a euro. Now, with Wilder, we hear all sorts of excuses and explanations but the truth is there's only ever been one promoter who actually successfully navigated the modern era.

If Ruiz wins, IMO he drops the WBO belt and fights Wilder in a unification. If AJ wins then I think he will have to defend against the mando Usyk before he fights in a unification fight.

That dude hits hard enough that he is ready for anyone but I don't think they make that fight. Kownacki is a huge draw in the Polish community and my guess is they want him undefeated when he fights Wilder.

Wilder just had 13K at his fight almost double of what Fury had. If Wilder only sold 3k tickets no1 would be calling him a star. He makes the fight more compelling during the build up then delivers a boring dud in the ring.
Fact is Wilder is more popular than Fury but some just can’t admit it.

I would agree wilder is more popular than Fury, but he isn't "box office" like Floyd, Tyson, Manny or ODH.

I just think they work better together than apart. Maybe fans just got so pissed that they didn't fight each other that they decided not to buy tickets to either fight.

Guarantee if you went to any local American grocery store or shopping mall 9 out of 10 people wouldn’t know who Deontay Wilder is.
