Do you ever see a fighter having to......

Release a press statement on why his legacy is being questioned and what not like what Canelo did?

The two best we got in Pacquiao Mayweathers legacy were questioned throughout in their careers yet they don't make these kind of statements on why fans are questioning their legacy. They let their fights speak for themselves but Canelo and his team on the other hand has to explain why he's the best and should be praised.

No but we've never in my lifetime had more fans who can't tell the difference between a perfect jab thrown by an elite boxer, a half assed jab thrown by an elite MMA fighters, or a totally painless jab thrown by a WWE performer either.

Easily the worst time to be a knowledgeable fan. Used to be on YT I'd get most my thumbs just by explaining the skill sets of the fighters without picking a side. Now I get my thumbs by explaining which belt is which and what they mean.

I don't hate the new class of fans who don't know ****, but, they are the mouthiest and most ignorant I've ever seen. Used to be people would lurk a while before posting that way they got a feel for the sport before arguing. Now they just jump right in with the yer dumbs and **** like they know something.

I've never spent more time explaining what terms like resume, puncher, and lineal mean before the end of 2018 and through 2019.

So, yeah, maybe they do now.

Am sure it's one of Canelo's team, who feels the need to release this statement. Am sure he approved of it too. Which for me was ******, he doesn't need to answer to anyone, he should just continue to do what he is doing and his legacy would speak for itself.

Kovalev went on his own social media and called people idiots for expecting him to win, or to even put up a good fight. He talked about gassing out after 5 or 6 rounds. Totally being dead on his feet, being over-trained from earlier in the year and not putting in enough work in preparation for Canelo. Basically he took the big money and half-assed it into the fight. Words from his own mouth. Canelo's team are constantly trying to write a narrative that doesn't fit the facts. Go after Kovalev for spilling the beans, don't blame the fans for getting wise to the bullchit.

People are starting to wake up to Canelo's diva behavior and shadiness throughout his whole career. Canelo weight, ridiculous scorecards, PEDs and now Kovalev admitting that he was just happy getting paid and didn't even fight to win! Yeah Kovalev is not a fix, but it comes very close to taking a dive.
