Because he's now likely got a FOX date to himself, with Benevidez-Yidrim as his chief support, and will likely be on something like an 80/20 Danny share of the money.

Bob Arum only offered $3m for the fight (with that number likely not going up, and Crawford fighting in December already).

Danny Garcia gets his January fight, gets through that in one piece, and then likely still moves to a Spring PPV with Errol Spence Jr.

There's some decent matchups for Danny but Khan isn't one of them he's done he's been done for a long time.Danny needs to concentrate on decent fights if he is to get Manny in there.Smashing Amir Khan to bits again proves nothing ...they all do it.

They should have Juan Manuel Marquez come out of retirement to get the ricans pumped about Garcia like they did when garcia fought morales. They were all so happy. They would say the same thing as they did with morales, "Garcia sent morales to retirement, Garcia is the greatest". Theres alot of money to collect from the islanders when it comes to boxing. Even if it is a more than evident farse.

all that talk of pbc having 147 locked down, spence's injury showed how shaky things are until he gets back. reality is rematches between garcia/porter/thurman aren't that interesting, people don't care about ugas, and mikey is too small. really gotta hope pac livens things up for the company
