    Comments Thread For: Trainer: Andy Ruiz Will Confirm It Wasn't Luck in Beating Joshua

    Renowned Mexican coach Manny Robles said IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight world champion Andy Ruiz will be better prepared for the upcoming rematch with Anthony Joshua on December 7 in Saudi Arabia. In the first bout, which took place in June, Ruiz accepted the bout on late notice after original opponent Jarrell Miller was pulled from the fight after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.

    It certainly wasn’t luck. But can he do it again? That’s the real question. I think AJ wins the rematch, but Ruiz is no joke.

      Of course it's not luck.

      But you'll be lucky if you can win the second time, I assure you. I want you to win, but I don't see it happening.

          Andy will eat a 100jabs in this fight and then go home and eat a 100 tacos and marses. He will have made a fortune for his family and be a forgotten memory as a fluke should be in the process. I'm not sure which is more annoying, rahman mccall douglas or ruiz!!! Just go away. Aj gave you the 2kds a piece in each round, they happened thru HIS amateur mistakes and nothing u did proactively .... u aint no fury or ortiz level of boxer. All u did was feint from the outside and eat jabs all night, and swinging with wild hooks. You also got kd yourself first, so you know you cannot outpower him and just walk him down anyway. His mistakes were trading on the inside first and lazy jab with chin in the air second. Each one led to a second kd where he was disoriented in each case. He had the heart of a champ to get up 4 times but for some reason he is a quitter to a certain fraud holding a green belt hostage. Those mistakes? They wont happen again. He was also off mentally in the first fight, possibly pre concussed. I doubt the same will happen twice in a row. This will be povetkin / parker type surgical clean performance. And as I said, you will be a forgotten memory. Not sure what you did to deserve this fight in the first place other than fighting cans and losing horribly to parker (outpointed, both outlanded and outthrown. Its in the punch stats. No argument here, just facts)

            Oh please, 'round after round'. Stop it. He nearly got stomped himself. Aj got caught trying to finish like an amateur and again after he recovered, gave it away with a lazy jab. In between there were 4 rounds, huge gulf where andy swung wild, feinted scared from a distance, and ate jab after jab. You act as if he is the second coming of ali or lennox lewis. It was also clear aj was not okay that night. Wont happen again. Stop embarassing yourself.

              If I ever react to a comment as emotionally as you are now then I'll know I actually am embarrassing myself......

                  Ruiz wins -> unification in 2020
                  Aj wins -> no unification

                    Said the guy who came up with 'stomped round after round'

                    Stop it. I speak in facts, you do not. Assess the whole situation and watch the fight again with no commentary, also learn some boxing. The mental aspect, learn to spot amateur mistakes like aj's on that night etc.

                    Or don't. Either way i don't care. I have made my point clear.
