Comments Thread For: Chavez Jr: Arizona Commission Legal Team Reviewing Nevada Ruling

Nevada's actions have now become Arizona's problem. As previously reported by BoxingScene.com, the Nevada State Athletic Commission unanimously voted to extend a temporary suspension placed on former middleweight titlist Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. during its monthly commission agenda held Wednesday morning at state headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada. The suspension stems from his refusal to submit to an ordered Oct. 24 random drug test, evading contracted test collectors at the Wild Card Boxing Gym in Hollywood, California where he has been training. The ruling on Wednesday greatly impact Chavez Jr's next scheduled bout, as the second-generation boxer is due to face fellow former middleweight titlist Daniel Jacobs (35-3, 29KOS) on Dec. 20 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

If Matchroom loses its license in Nevada then the other major commissions will honour that and dazn will be forced to reevaluate its relationship with Eddie Hearn. On top of that, violating state and federal law may result in Hearn being taken before a federal magistrate, in hand cuffs, by US Marshalls....wouldn’t that be something

Where was this constant wave of articles when both Charlos were let off with vanishing off the face of the earth an entire week?

then suddenly they come up with the lamest excuse dependant on an undated picture of them at some outdoor park or some lame ass chit excuse.

They were then given no suspension of any kind,no commission meeting, nothing. And then Malls opponent was banned & replaced for an adverse testosterone reading.

This site didn't write anything remotely resembling unbiased journalistic integrity whatsoever(they didn't remotely cover such a massive story) because this site is owned by cbs who are in bed with Haymon.(& Im no so called "Haymon hater" I like some fights/fighters hes brought boxing)

Both Charlos should have gone through everything Chavez Jrs going through & more right now if this country was actually about what they claim they are. They both violated the rules they signed up for & didn't want anything to do with obeying among their 1st few vada tested fights.(for a short while each time they did vada)

And this bum chavez jr isn't even fighting for any belt

Yes, but only castrated. The uncastrated brand goes undetected
