You guys revere a guy like Canelo and say how great of a boxer he is, and label GGG a fraud, terrible boxer, etc...while most neutral people had GGG clearly winning the first fight vs Canelo (and at least one of you even scores that fight a draw), and most of those more or less neutral people felt GGG won the 2nd fight as well.
In any event they were competitive fights and Canelo did hardly any separating boxing-wise from a 35/36 year old GGG.
Knowing how those 2 fights turned out...how the two of you, or anyone else, can hold the belief that 1) Canelo is great and 2) GGG sucks...just gives you guys no credibility...I mean it just makes 0 sense and it is strange to see you guys trying to argue from a position of intellectual authority.
You can critique any fighter for a number of valid reasons...you can get on GGG for certain things in his career if you really don't like him and want to hate on him for something.
he separated Golovkin from his Mexican heritage, and then he separated him from his titles
you must have me confused with someone else... ???
all I have ever said is... Golovkin is a very good fighter
and I said... whatever you think of Golovkin the fighter, there is a serious mismatch here between his team’s words and their deeds... just like this journalist pointed out years ago...
Golovkin vs Ward: Who Is Ducking Who? Matt O'Brien takes a close look at the war of words between boxing champs Andre Ward and Gennady Golovkin.
and I said... Team Golovkin have incessantly played the media, and lied to the fans... just like this fighter pointed out years ago...
and I said... that " ducking me doe " myth... is nothing but hype and bullshlt
they took the fights they wanted, and they passed on the rest... JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE... just like this promoter said, years ago... " everyone they paid fought him " ~ Lou Di Bella
when it came to negotiating with two highest-profile opponents... they made a take-it-or-leave-it, lowball offer, and then quickly ran off to fight Wade/Brook respectively... with NO offer or opportunity for negotiation
FACT: that is NOT how you make a professional boxing match kid, not if you really want the fight... and of course, nothing came from either of those "offers"
then they ran off to the media with their usual schtick... "well, Gennady can't force these guys to fight him"
they played the media and lied to their idiot fans
the reason why you guys have to make up fanciful stories about how Golovkin could have beaten (insert name here)... is because he wasn't willing to get in the ring and prove itComment

Not quite daniel day lewis level but he really immersed himself in the role of stooge... at times i was convinced i was watching a real fight!!!! However the lack of any sort of right hand, a jab at 50 percent speed and how he reacted like hed been hit by prime mike tyson (instead of a guy with moderate power at lower weights) for the stoppage out of nowhere conveniently late on, made me realise that fight was about as realistic as tyson furys was in wwe...
What should we expect from none other than Drama show. Lol.Comment

Sergey was holding back the whole time. We all know Sergey throws one of the best jabs but man, the ones that night wre really bad. Those Kovalev punches that floored Bernard, Ward, Pascal and the young Yarde were never there. He was holding back
There were plenty of times Alvarez would move forward then throw simple punches then all of a sudden move back like he's winded... Really?
This fight was staged big timeComment
