Okay so there’s half the problem eliminated. Chavez can fail the piss test after the fight. Still that leaves him having to make weight. I still think this fight never happens. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll give Junior all the credit he doesn’t deserve if he can get into the ring.

I think the fight goes ahead, but will probably be an even shellier shell of JNR as we know it. I'd imagine if a fighter is serious about a come back, they take tune-up fights and work off the rust. With the exception of SRL, it seems a lot just jump into the biggest payday they can see and endure the outcome.
