Comments Thread For: Wilder: I Never Want To Leave The Ring Without Getting a KO

By Thomas Gerbasi - The best heavyweight in the world fights on Saturday night. That's a distinction Deontay Wilder always believed belonged to him, but with Anthony Joshua being upset by Andy Ruiz Jr. and Tyson Fury looking more interested in WWE and the UFC than he has in wins over Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin in the months since...

Appreciate him while he’s here, I always get my money’s worth with Wilder so I can’t complain!

If it was up to him he’d already sent AJ’s head to the 4th row at Wembley in a first fight and then baptize him in a rematch in Vegas!

Then makes sure Fury stays down to the canvass in the rematch by now and fight all comers who are clean and come correct!

Ortiz is still dangerous which is why no other viable names wanted smoke!

Anyone else think that Wilder trying to land the KO shot all night might be the best strategy he has?

Ortiz is skilled and powerful. His worst feature was stamina and apparently he worked on it for this fight.

He was dull vs Hammer, but a bad night can happen.

Imo he's one of the few (including Fury and Kownacki) that has a chance vs Wilder.

Kownacki has no defense, no head movement, which means, Wilder likely stops him.

Ortiz was offered a fight by AJ, stop saying nobody else wanted to fight him.

if he is always looking for the KO why didn't the alabama jackass go for it after knocking fury down in the 12th round

Has he ever out-boxed anyone in his life? The KO is his only chance.

I get that impression of wilder. It's hardly a bad thing in my eyes, thats one of the reasons I never miss a Wilder fight, another reason is in the hope the wanker gets knocked out himself.
