Yeah for 16 seconds vs the worst opponent imaginable. Hopefully someone that can fight back and defend themselves this time.

Yeah because it was his pro debut, what do you expect? If he is fighting bums by his 20th fight or higher then I can understand the complaining. I mean look at guys like Wilder or Chavez Jr. it took them over 30 fights to fight someone with a pulse. Evan has time and just because he is the son of an absolute legend doesn't mean you need to rush him.

I don't think you're grasping how bad his opponent was. It's one thing putting guys in with no hopers or bums or whatever you wanna call em for their first however many fights but this kid could not box at all. He had had one pro fight which he lost by TKO and looked terrible while doing so the whole time. At least crusty no hope journeymen usually have some wins and can defend themselves or at least go in safety first trying not to get stopped or just throw somethin or do anything. Something...

As bad as it was, the ref waived it off without guy even dropping if I recall correctly.

He was dropped but got up and could continue but the ref had mercy and wasn't gonna let him get mercilessly beat for a debut showcase.

Thanks. Still sticks out to me for being a card that had three “knockouts” without any of the guys getting a count.
