I've been sold on Valdez for a long time. I am not sold on Reynoso, yet. For Valdez's sake I hope it works. Popularity does not make a great trainer.

I think Valdez has a good chance at beating Berchelt. I think some of Berchelt's best wins have been very opportunistic.

Valdez is a fighter with grit but his defense is lacking. Even if he's trained by Reynoso, we can't expect him to turn into a defensive wizard especially having only been with him for two fights going on three with Gutierrez. Reynoso is going to want Valdez to box and not go toe to toe with Berchelt cause that would be fighting Berchelt's fight. Even so, Berchelt is going to force Valdez to fight his fight and turn this into a war. It'll be entertaining for while it lasts but certainly won't go the distance
