Has Morales become a later starter?

Perhaps the reason Morales was so dead tired for the 2nd half of the fight with Manny was because he was forced to fight every minute of every round. If you watch against Barrera in 3rd fight, he was very slow to start. Against Raheem he just looked bad though he didn't do jack in the early rounds. Didn't even attempt to really press an attack until the later rounds. I guess Morales' last great performance could be said it was against Manny in the 1st fight. Though in that fight it was nearly opposite with Manny draining in the 2nd half cause of the blood loss so it wasn't as good a measurement to say. I think Morales now has just gotten to that Benard point in his featherweight years and has become a later starter. I don't know how the hell he's gonna beat Manny in the 3rd fight though gotta give him credit for taking another whack at it. If he loses though, without a doubt he needs to retire, otherwise, what? A 4th fight with Barrera?

I think I'd like to rename this topic title to, Has Morales become a half a fight fighter? What you think?

It has nothing to do with slow starts. He is just past his prime plain & simple. Its pretty much the same for Hopkins. People make it seem like Hopkins came on strong at the end of the fights but alot of that had to do with Taylor just getting tired and wearing down also.

I wouldnt be surprised of Morales got stopped again

        It going to be hard

His father retired as a trainer and advice him to retire.

Anyway Morales got his own enterprise like Oscar De la Hayo but in Mexicio

Ring Wars , age and Making weight have a lot do with it. Losing to Raheem was simply a stylistic matchup.

Props to Morales , he's the only one with the balls to give Pac a third fight. He didnt even have to give him a rematch after the first fight.

Shame on you Barerra and JMM. At least you could have stepped in the ring with Pacman and taken your beating like a soldier. Barerra could have taken the rematch with Pac right away...it's obvious he was just as scared as JMM.

EM won the 1st fight fair and square against Pacquiao, but there has to be a rematch whether EM has the choice or not. EM won by UD but it was a close fight, 115-113. The first fight was on EM's condition, both fighters wearing the Winning gloves. The accidental headbutt(and i mean accidental) and the Winning gloves affected Pac's performance. What would have happen if Pac was wearing Reyes gloves and no cuts? Probably a win for a Pac or a draw, who knows.

Pac was willing to give JMM a rematch but did not do so because of money. It was probably the biggest mistake on JMM's career. U can say it was Nachos fault, but JMM still has a say on his boxing career.

When MAB fought against Juarez, when Rocky was landing punches, MAB's face reminds me of the fight against Pacquiao. MAB keeps challenging Pacman but suddenly decided to fight a diffirent fighter.

I am not bashing on both MAB and EM, but if this 2 fighters lose on their next fight, they are done, unless they can pull a Bernard Hopkins.
