Some people on here have no sense of reasoning whatsoever, people don't always have to accept the money thrown at them.
Joshua was offered a straight $50m to fight wilder in the US and he refused and he even admitted to it but I guess that doesn't count

Tell me how a man who will fight anybody genuinely manages not to fight any other champion in his record long reign?
Even after Joshuas 8th fight he was advised by Barry to "duck" Wilder because "he's strong" (Youtube). Which at that time is understandable because Joshua was green.
And I won't go into the 50mil that Eddie acknowledges was on the table and his admission of wanting Joshua to fight "risk free" fights if Wilder didn't accept their measly offers and vague "desire" to fight. Eddie turned this issue into trying to push Wilder into accepting lopsided money with no clear contracts or "talks" to exacerbate an already complicated "negotiations" process.
On the advice of his pops, Eddie wanted Wilder frustrated and in limbo so that his robot would have free reign against sub par opponents at HOME with the luxury of photo shoots, endorsements & drunk UK fan worship....the pressure from SRLeonard, Lennox and other outspoken critics knew Joshuas pu ss moves to stay @ home was wack & cowardly....plus the fact he (Joshua) didnt want Wilder entering the ring to confront him to hype a potential fight.....I've only scratched the surface dude.....It was good to see Joshua LOSE "because he played it safe for far too long as a protected so called "champ".....

But if you cant see behind all the Eddie & Barry shenanigans, I certainly wont be able to convince you. Barry wanted Joshua to wait two years as recently as 2018 as seen on Boxingscene before facing Wilder.

I've also seen footage of Wilder in 2017 saying "AJ is too inexperienced to fight now, I want him to gain experience for a couple more years before I fight him."
8 months later he was saying that Joshua had been ducking him all this time.
Ortiz, Fury, Ortiz, Fury, yes he's really trying to unify the belts by fighting the same non-title holders over and over again.
Mind you, they are the only two half-decent heavyweights he has ever faced in his entire career.
Unbelievable that you twist the truth to defend a cowardly paper champ.
When has Wilder boxed outside of America? The money was far better in the UK as boxing is dead in the US.
When one fighter holds 4 belts and one fighter holds just one, the multiple belt holder always gets the lions share of the purse. It has always been the way. He should be taking 4/5 of the purse.
The 50mil was real, the contract was vapour ware.Last edited by Angeljuice; 12-03-2019, 11:14 AM.
