German light heavyweight Dominic Boesel (30-1) stopped Swede Sven Fornling (15-2) 1.12 into the eleventh round to win the IBO title and the vacant WBA interim crown as well. It was a tough fight for both but the sharper punches came from Boesel while Fornling wasted a lot of energy punching air and Boesels guard.
