Anyone else wonder who'd win if they ever rematched? Lewis vs Klitschko?

Brian Mitchell held a belt, so at least he could defend as long as it was in his opponent backyard.

You were once a baby, now retired, right?

    Yeah!!!
Sanders was literally retired. He hadn't fought in a year & gained 10lbs in that short time frame up 225 to 235.

I'm not convinced Vitalis chin is all that. Wlad dispatched of Mercer real quick & he had one of the best chins in boxing. In terms of power I rank all the 90s guys behind this newer era.

Lennox was in awful shape and still turned Klit's face into hamburger.
He would be better prepared for the rematch and would win in better fashion.
He was simply the much better fighter.

          - -Lenny in 2 weeks pretraining camp with Manny in England a month before he started his 8 wk camp.

Vitali took the Lewis fight on 2 wk notice.

What grade you repeating this year?

I would’ve confidently picked Vitali in a rematch. Prime Lennox probably wins by a close decision IMO

If Lennox was confident that he could beat Vitali in the rematch, he would have taken that fight. He knew that it would be an uphill struggle to beat Klischko. He contemplated the rematch for 8 months or so before he decided to retire...that says a lot right there. The rematch was highly anticipated and it would have made Lennox a ton of money but he knew better than to get back in the ring with Klitschko.

                - -Put it this way:

The purse woulda been bigger than Tyson.

Is there anyone, Sissyboy or not who wouldn't take that fight for 1/10th the Lewis purse?

                I thought not!

                  Good points.

Yeah in a rematch I'd choose vitali. Prime vs Prime, it really depends. Because one shot could change it all. Close head to head battle.

You could be onto something. Wilder has more power than all of them. Fury could pose problems but he makes too many mistakes and would get KO'd. Verse Joshua it'd be a war, anyone could fall.

I honestly think Vitaly would win.

He is awkward, taller and longer with power.

Most importantly Lewis cant hurt him and he knew it. Lewis knew that if he cant hurt Vitaly, he will be in deep waters later in the fight.
