So do you think Povetkin is not a top 10 fighter of this decade??? For quite some time he was considered #2 in the division, after Vitali's retirement and than after the Pulev loss who was considered the clear #2 behind Wlad

        I realize, but, he's a bum smasher.

It is fair to give Wlad a name when that name was still doing good and fought Wlad. Povetkin's made a career out of serving men already on the slide out of the rankings their last fight as a top ranked fighter....most of them Wlad leftovers.

He doesn't fight guys on their way up, stopping them from getting a title shot and keeping the riff-raff from championship bouts. It's one of the major reasons why Wlad had such **** mandos. Pov avoided stopping their rise to him and then decided he'd fight them after Wlad has already defended his titles against them.

        Stiverne
        Wilder
        Parker
        Joshua
        Martin
        Glazkov
        Fury
        Jennings
        Pulev
        Breazeale
        Ortiz
        Ruiz
        Pianeta
        Washington
        Molina
        Szpilka
        Hughie
        Cojanu

All fought for title without fighting Povetkin first despite debuting after Povetkin, most of them debuted after he was already a top ten.

He has a history of avoiding unbeaten fighters, fighters climbing ranks, and championship matches or fights that would lead to championship matches.

Even characters like David Haye were able to step into HW and fight for a title without having to face Povetkin even though Povetkin had won an IBF elim prior to Haye-Valuev.

He doesn't fight unbeaten fighters, fighters moving up ranks, or fighters that would lead him to a title shot.

After Wlad shattered Pulev, when Pov is the #2, who did he fight? Charr, Takam, and Perez? Meanwhile Wilder is positioning for the WBC, Fury is positioning in the WBA, Ortiz is positioning in the WBA, Glaz is working the IBF, and Ruiz is working the WBO.

Had he fought ANYONE on their way up then he'd have to fight the champion so he didn't. Instead he ****ed around until Tyson beat Wlad and shifted his leftover feast from Wlad's leftovers to Wilder and Fury's while always mixing in the no-hopers like Price.

The fact that he's been a top ten since 08, unbroken, and has only fought twice for a real title and never won ought to clue you in. This guy is 90% hype and 10% talent.

I'm not saying he's terrible, but, everyone with the stones to be champion deserves more respect. I ain't big on HW Haye, but, I respect him more than treading water Pov.

You make a lot of great points, but sadly the division was so weak he makes the cut, and his best two wins were Chagaev and Perez coming off losses, your 100% right
