Actually any boxer should be able to hire or fire trainers as they see fit. They are the ones doing the fighting. It's their career and their choice.

Golovkin did himself a favor by splitting with Anel Sanchez, but he chose the wrong trainer. He should have went with Freddie Roach or Robert Garcia. It’s too late to teach the guy some head movement. Might as well go with an offensive trainer.
