That's BS. You'd have to be a fool to believe that. The only way we truly know if it was the smartest move or not is just how much of the 120m was guaranteed.
Wilder isn't doing big PPV numbers. So it is very unlikely he'll see anywhere near that type of money in the future. Now If Wilder was 24 it might make sense but at 34, he's already in the twilight of his boxing career.
I sum it up as Wilder just being a loyal dude.
Patience the next 2 years will be huge...20 to 30 million for Ortiz fight,
then in Spring a voluntary probably Kornacki for 20 to 30 million
MAY,JUNE RUIZ in Vegas stadium..40 to 50 million
Sept Ruiz or Joyce 30 to 50 million
Fall 2020 Fury or Whyte
50 to 100 million
