They should definitely fight pulev or usyk next they can’t always just fight other champs. They need to defend their belts and give other guys a chance to take their thrown. Then they should fight wilder next it just makes all the hype and wait worth it.

Top Rank is right, I think. Not sure if the rotation remains the same after there is a new champion but the last time there was an IBF defense it was against Takam and the Povetkin fight counted as a WBO mando.

Pulev may have very well got himself into mandatory position but he has no chance against the winner of Joshua/Ruiz IMO.

I don't see him beating Joshua but he and Ruiz could be a decent fight.

If Ruiz wins then he would drop the WBO belt (Pulev fight not happening), if Joshua wins then he would drop the IBF belt (Usyk to fight for it under matchroom)...Keeping it in house. I would expect AJ/Usky down the line next year if AJ beats Ruiz, I don't expect to see AJ chasing Wilder anymore.

pulev is the IBF mandAtory. So if Ruiz drops the WBO belt and I want fight Pulev next he would only be left with the wba belt. I doubt Pbc wants to let all that hardware go without attempting to defend it.

Famous Bob Arum quote: yesterday I was lying today I’m telling the truth

And that’s what I take from this thread

I think he's more or less a no-hoper against either guy.
