Seems improbable we got that much of a sudden surge in fans, even if it the Youtubers are all excited right at the moment. Woulda seen more over the weekend less some news story just broke that I missed. Some kinda Distributed DoS attack, maybe?

I had something unusual happen when I attempted posting today. I was sent to a page that wanted me to sign in to the cloud...or something like that. This happened a few times, so I closed BS and came back a half hour later and I was able to post without any issues. Not sure if that is related to the unusually high amount of visitors today. But as you said, it's very doubtful that the visitor count is anywhere close to accurate today.
