It's boxing though so I guess I would even give Jr a puncher's chance...if he decides to let his hands go at all.
    Agree...........

A testing agent showed up to collect a sample from Chavez and he just refused a test. It wasn’t a miscommunication of location, he refused the test.
That’s like having a test in college, being absent for said test, and then wanting to retake it another time.

Whereas Chavez Jr. showed up and straight up didn’t take it.

Both would receive zeros from the teacher.

      The excuse doesn’t matter.

Hearns ain’t slick, he better cough up some of that DAZN war chest money and shut Bob Bennett the fûçk up!

We all know majority of athletes especially in the top class are on something!

Too much at stake and too much pressure for a mere person to 100% be clean knowing the competition isn’t!

Hearn isn't coming up with any money. Get that out of your head. Canelo came with his own money, a star before he met Hearn. Everybody else gets the less is best act. He's so cheap, Andy is losing weight.

I'm tired of seeing Jr get his buey!

First with Don José Sulaimán (his padrino) then with Mauricio Sulaimán (the son).

Now Eddie Hearn wants to take on Nevada over a spoiled kid? And a cherry picked fight at that!

Truth be told DANIEL JACOBS beats JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ JR.

I'm not sure it's really an ethical question but one of abiding by the rules. I don't think it was particularly wrong or unethical for Hearn to try to find a new venue to put the fight on, since Jr hadn't actually failed a test and the discussion with Arizona also contained the Rosado back up, but what is now apparent is that it is against the rules since the ABC quite rightly consider that rulings and sanctions made in one state should apply to all it's signatories... otherwise what's the point? Hearn may or may not have known that what he was attempting was in violation of the ABC rules and - likely - federal law, but the onus is on him to clarify these matters in advance.

Perhaps the Arizona Commisioner should have given hin a heads up - and certainly he shouldn't have agreed to stage the match there in advance of NAC making a final decision on Jr (due on 20th I think) - but given that a final decision has not been made and that the discussions revolved not just about Danny facing Jr, but also about Rosado if Jr should not be cleared by NAC then I don't really see the problem. Should a promoter not even be allowed to enter discussions about trying to save his card with an alternative fighter in an alternative venue should his plan A fuck up?

Probably had Hauser not blown the story and kinda forced the Nevada commision to be seen to be taking a strong stance we would have just had a decision going through on the 20th which probably would have had Jr's dumb ass banned for 6 - 12 and Rosado installed as the opponent with no-one giving too much of a damn.

Best I can tell though, to extend your analogy, is that Danny was never even told there was a test so ain't really at fault for no showing. Charlo knew there was a test but no-showed and Jrs dumb ass showed up but then refused to do it.
