As much as I dislike Dana White he actually speaks truth with this statement. Most MMA grapplers are wrestling champions many times over. Take a boxer to the ground and it’s game over. They are two completely different disciplines. Fury would be crushed in an MMA match just like Fury, wilder or any boxing champion would smash an MMA star in the ring.

People point to holy holm, but it was her kicks, almost as much as it was her punches that won her rhonda fight. Fury's likely never kicked in his life and more importantly, he doesn't sit down on punches and/or doesn't carry a lot of power, so i can't imagine how he can keep anyone off him that's legally allowed to run upto him and grab him. Especially in the absence of 1 punch knockout power
