All I wanna say is that they don’t really care about us. -MJ

Obviously Canelo with the highlight reel KO of him is more well known among casuals, but if you've never seen his fight with Angulo, I would highly recommend it.
I was going to say it would be fun to watch his final hurrah run if he was to just go in there and use the Rakhim Chakhkiev gameplan, i.e literally empty the entire gastank in the first 3 rounds going for the KO and when that fails you get KO'd yourself, but isnt that basically what he always did more or less?

He got blasted out by feather fisted Ishida nearly a decade ago attempting to KO him in the first ffs. This will end very badly for him, hes going to get brutally knocked out the moment he faces anybody. hopefully hes in just for one last decent payday and he will hang them up for good.

Is he back with Ann Wolf?

Even at their best Canelo beats both of them down. Kirkland has no chin and Angulo has always been a walking punching bag.

Doesn't matter which version of Kirkland it was. No version of Kirkland will beat Canelo.

I hope he's back with Anne. He's a different fighter with her. He's a diehard with her. He fights like Anne is his momma and the other fighter call her a funky **** hoe. From the jump hes trying to kill you or be killed in the process. What son will give up or quit defending his mothet? He can't get his a55 kicked in front of his mother. Right?

Sometimes it comes down to getting your life in order before you can do the same for your career. I hope he did it in that order.

He was always a high work rate guy and his general game plan was to just be in your face at all times and wear you down. And while he didn't have a good chin he had great recovery and the heart of a lion. Kind of use to laugh with a couple buddies of mine years ago about how if he got to the 4th round, that was your ass. His fight with Angulo, Tapia and a few others put this on full display. He basically ruined Angulo and Tapia.

Anyways, yes he just needed to stay retired. I said as much after the Canelo fight, and I'm one of his biggest fans. A combination of the long lay offs he had, the gym wars he went through, the lack of discipline in between fights, and the fact he didn't have a good chin to begin with. This won't end well.

Not sure if he is back with Ann or not, didn't even know he was on the comeback trail tbh.
