oscar was a true warrior who fought everyone. I can imagine that maybe some of his frustration with Canelo not willing to do the same. Could Canelo be a prime Oscar De La Hoya?

Oscar was very very good with Floyd sr at 154. But he’d really have to put together a spectacular performance against such a defensively responsible canelo. That’s 55/45 in favor of canelo IMO. At 160 I think canelo wins a competitive UD. I just can’t help to think of Oscar’s lifestyle and I think a body puncher as committed and sharp as canelo gives him all types of fits

DLH needed a gift over felix sturm. Canelo would stop both sturm and oscar at 160.


At 154, the only natural jr middle that DLH beat was vargas after trinidad busted him up.

Everyone else DLH fought at 154 were smaller guys who moved up.
