I agree with you on that, for reference check out his us debut fight think it was around 12 years ago and check his explosiveness compared to today's version.

Its a damn shame at times, most upsetting for me was watching the husk of roy jones jr still triple hooking in there but getting caught cold by people like maccareneli and lebedev. He would have destroyed both in his prime.

I don't think there's any "hate" on Gamboa, it's just we all know he is far, far removed from the force he was at featherweight when he was running through people.

I won't say shot but he's clearly faded. Add to that his inactivity (only fought twice in the past two years), his age (37) and the fact that he's always been a bit delicate around the whiskers.

This is a cherry pick for Davis. Expect him to win by KO.

Sigh...yeah that was probably the worst recent one I can think of...the dip from prime to not was as drastic as anything I've seen...really hard to see great ones get old.

Mostly because they give him ZERO Chance at beating Tank

We just seen with Donaire, don't count these veterans out. Gamboa still has Power. With that being said, the fight with Farmer should've been made

It’s because Tank is an established world champion and very good... I don’t think there’s much reason to bring him along slowly because I think he’d be favored against almost everyone. Unlike other guys who are being brought along slowly because there are question marks on them, I think Tank is ready for anyone.
