Donaire surprised me in that fight. Showed he still has some left.

Inoue should've stopped Donaire in the 11th. Donaire was already shot and gassed, and the monster was exposed when he didn't KTFO Old AZZ Donaire, especially after he already dropped him with a body shot a few rounds earlier. This will always be a huge asterick in Inoues' career.

What are you even trying to say? Inoue KD Donaire in the 11th...not "a few rounds earlier".


Amazing fight

Inoue overcame an experienced bigger man with a huge punch admittedly past his prime while overcoming a fractured eyesocket double vision a broken nose and a cut in about the worst place a boxer can get one. He didn't panic and outboxed and dropped a future first ballot HOF member. Impressive.

Didnt realize the damage was that bad, but viewers couldn't have known with how focused and energetic Inoue was in 11th and 12th.

Inoue is excellent.

Here we go again with that internet tough guy type chit. Grappling is for legit ****sexuals and women tbh. But, if I ever trained in grappling; I would easily smash up on you bro. You would get armbarred so fast; you would be crying uncle. We would never hear about you from these parts ever again, my DUDE! Donaires' hooks would be absolutely nothing to me. I would brush them off like nothing, and Donaire would have no choice but to retire and open a sushi restaurant like Bradley did.

He was just showing some pity on old Donaire. But, it was kinda funny and a bit sad ngl watching Donaire do the shuffle then drop to one knee. I got to hand it to the old man for being able to get up from that. I hope he saving that payday inoue got him!

I was pretty amped up during the fight but re-watching round 11 you can clearly see the ref put out his two full hands indicating the count of 10. Kinda weird but I can see how it flew under the radar a bit. You can tell Inoue is a true warrior because he never brought up the long count and won't talk about it for 5 months after their fight *cough* Wilder. Though he got the W so no real reason to whine one way or the other.
