Former middleweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez Jr (51-3-1 33 KOs) views Daniel Jacobs as the perfect opponent. It was announced on Friday that Chavez Jr. would face Jacobs, also a former champ at 160-pounds, at the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona on Friday December 20. The bout has been agreed upon for the super middleweight limit of 168-pounds.

Should be an easy fight for Jacob's. But knowing Jacob's and Andre Rozier they'll try to make it a stinker. Chavez can steal rounds by simply out working Jacob's.

Wondering how Jacobs will look at 168 when he doesn't have to struggle to make weight. I guess the question is will the fight happen at all.

        Why is this fight happening?
Charlo’s constantly ***** about no big name fights. Why didnt one of them step up and fight Jacobs? He was doing nothing.

Rozier fired out as trainer $ issues. Chavez can’t out work a heavy bag which he usually becomes he gases and has rock chin takes a beating

I'm nervous that this fight might fall threw if Chavez doesn't get it together. Wouldn't be surprised, but I do hope the fight happens. It's a crossroads fight.

Jr certainly looks less ******ed than usual in that pic.. I might bet on him. I have more faith in Roach than Junior, he might of got a grip of him.

Jr's self confidence will once again let him down.
