That's about what you'd expect from a guy with barely a dozen fights, a no name opponent, in his first title fight.

You lose money in the beginning I'm guessing with these kind of talents in the hopes they turn out to be the stars you forsee..

Fight should’ve been against Valdez if they wanted to sell tickets.

Have to keep Stevenson on the East Coast, which I'm sure TR will be doing for his upcoming fights.

And that's why he's being set up to fail. Not having Valdez fight him and top rank electing to make a Valdez Berchelt fight instead of Herring Berchelt and Valdez Stevenson shows Top Rank still doesn't have faith in the black fans.

Yeah or Valdez didnt wanna lose to Stevenson and figured he'd take his chances with Berchelt instead.

But let's throw the race thing out there just in case my man.

Top Rank values the Mexican market above all. That's their business model. You'll never see Top Rank use a black fighter to get over on one of their more popular Mexican fighters. It's not racism. It's how they value the Mexican market.
