Agree. Fanboys are not fans of boxing. Man, it was nice to be ignorant of the ignorance of a lot of boxing fans before the internet. When I was growing up I thought ALL fans liked all boxers, just some more then others. I thought ALL boxing fans wanted to see the best fight the best even if it meant their guy might lose. I thought ALL boxing fans hated ALL promoters, and took anything they said with a grain of salt even if it positive to one of your favs. I thought we as fans were on one side, and promoters and the alpha bit boys were the enemy that was destroying our sport. Now you can clearly see how these guys get away with a lot of this sh it, because a lot of fans don't care about boxing, just their hero's. Sad, real sad.

Good point. People like to bring up the one time May had a CW vs Canelo even though both Canelo AND his coach have said before, AND after fight that making 152 was no problem. Also Canelo would fight at 154 for another 3-4yrs, and was young. Pac fought Cotto at 145, and Cotto would never even fight at 147 ever again, he moved right to 54. Big difference. Mayweather could have asked for 150, and Canelo and his people would have taken it for that much money. Instead he makes a dumb move to show he was boss and asks for 152 and now has to live with people bringing it up.

A lot of it comes from the anti Mayweather press like dougie fisher. People just cant control their personal bias. We all have some bias, but some of us can control it enough to judge a fighter fair. Anybody who don't think May is a ATG either DKSAB or cant control their bias. Its really that simple.

If Manny could stop Canelo he would have stopped all of that list, instead everyone had an asterisk connected and everyone got up, Im sure none could take a bomb from GGG , putting those guys down is not near what it takes to put Canelo down, Alvarez gotta have one of the best chins in boxing he is a very strong fighter.

Manny wouldn't be able to do a thing with Canelo just too big and good at the size, Manny thought a 150 sloth landing 1 body punch was enough bad ass at 150 that he said he would never go there again, Canelo at 152 stops that shot version of Margarito in under 10 rounds and he would walk through Manny at that weight.

You Manny fan boys really like to sugarcoat his resume, its full of holes when you know how to read form and matchmaking, read weights and measures, understand this sport and things are a lot more clearer.
