Michael Moorer won the title from Holyfield but had as much charisma as Sonny Liston and Bermane Stiverne combined. So that meant that problem had to be rectified. Team Moorer had to sell the title so a money maker could step in and generate profits for the establishment. Foreman gave up all the HBO money to Moorer but got the "win." It looked suspect because Foreman landed his telegraphed shots through the fight but then that last final one dropped Moorer as if he'd been shot. Moorer laid there like Jack Johnson in Cuba. Foreman became a huge crossover moneymaker for HBO and Arum and the industry. Moorer went back to being a contender who drew minor crowds.
