Canelo KOed a washed up shell of a Kovalev who fought so poorly many think he got paid under the table to lose. A Kovalev who never threw a single hard punch at Canelo all fight. A Kovalev who looked so bad I doubt anyone would put him in their top 50 pfp. A Kovalev who will probably never fight again. Loma is a little guy who plans to return to 130. He is naturally about three weight classes smaller than Crawford and Spence and about 2 weight classes smaller than Pac. Canelo is a big strong guy now who is probably a natural 168 pound boxer now and won't fight at 160 again most likely. Canelo looked pretty lean and hard weighing in at almost 175. Loma would look fat if he weighed in at 147. You are comparing apples with oranges. Your comparison is inaccurate and invalid.

You're initial question is flawed. It's not the same thing. Canelo has always been big for his respective weight. He has a completely different frame and body type. He is closer to Tank and Teofomo in terms of body type and muscle mass. Loma is not built for power, he is built for speed and agility. You are comparing apples to oranges. Now ask if Tank can go to 147 and KO any of those fighters you mentioned...THAT would be the same thing Canelo did. Oh, but with one minor exception...Kovalev is not in the same league as Spence, Crawford or Manny.
