    Donaire 36 years old washed?

I was wondering how Donaire could resist the power of a 84% knock out artist in Inoyue. Around the same weight class. Inouye was in better spots and landed cleaner shots throughout. And 56% knock out ratio Canelo blasted through a 36 year old washed up fighter two divisions north with overall less success landing much of anything. Can someone explain to me the difference? Is it fair to say boxing is just all luck based on one shot? (I don’t ever believe so otherwise some champions wouldn’t reign supreme for a long time). Shout out to Donaire definitely Still growing as a fighter with the tactics very much improved. And no I hardly ever believe a fighter is truly washed. I believe fighters can be washed by just being crappy overall to begin with which can take place even in their 20s. And I don’t believe reflex or chinny is why a fighter loses. That’s just a bad philosophy ie rigo super chinny good success rate vs top 10 comp. Hopkins at 50 your reflex are way “gone”. Had good success etc not trolling really want a debate of this stuff to read something insightful

He's just old. He isn't washed. That's what happens to boxers with knockout power when they get old. They look for just the money punch and forget to set up anything.

Doesn't mean he's gun shy though. Mosley for example was 150% gun shy after Floyd. You don't go from mopping Margarito, to getting out boxed, to being afraid of letting your hands go... and not be washed.

Nonito is far from gun shy. He's just old and probably doesn't need to box anymore. Anyone else getting hit by the shots Naoya ate, they are going to sleep man. Make no doubt about it.

The passion and desire Donaire continues to exhibit is truly special. He’s a unique athlete. And he’s a straight up gun. He’s also a bad boy. He enjoys fighting and punching people. He also has loads of experience and really used all his tricks against Inoue. Donaire isn’t washed. And he’s at his natural weight. Kovalev was selected by canelo because he was perfect for him. I don’t discredit that win. Canelo did his thing and beat a champ. And Inoue certainly performed very well and just unified against a champ and future HOF’er.

Their isn't a man walking the street or professional athlete thats still in their physical prime at 36/37 years old. Anybody who has reached this age knows this. Not only is the dude old he is fighting in the lower weight classes where speed, reflexes, and high punch count are everything.
