Matchroom Boxing Spain and DAZN promote a big show at the Palau Olympic de la Vall DHebron in Barcelona, Spain on December 12. On top of the bill EBU super lightweight champ Sandor Martin (35-2) defends the title against Brit Joe Hughes (17-4-1). In the co-feature EBU welterweight king David Avanesyan (25-3-1) make a voluntary defence of the title against Spaniard Jose Del Rio (29-8-1) before taking on mandatory challenger Josh Kelly in early 2020.

Great news for boxing in Spain. Also for Brit fighters to get some overseas experience. Atmosphere in Barcelona will be terrific for Sandor Martin.
I thought Hughes beat Davies in Liverpool so really glad he's getting a chance to win it back.
